Every year we spend an evening locked up in the Tower of London…
Not because we regularly commit acts of treason but to help raise money for Prostate Cancer UK! Our MD’s Father is a survivor of Prostate Cancer and since his recovery, Guy Woodford has been an advocate of fundraising for this charity, determined to help win the fight against the disease that affects 1 in 8 men.
In 2013, Guy received an MBE for his service to both the community and charity fundraising! As you can see it was the same time Mo Farah was honoured with his CBE. From our most recent check, Guy has now raised an incredible £258,497!
This year, we asked some of the contributors of our blog series ‘10 Digital Tools I Couldn’t Live Without’ to join us on an adventure into the past and witness the ceremony of the keys at the Tower of London. This tradition of locking up the Tower is over 700 years old and has taken place every evening without fail since its beginnings.
