We’re now recruiting a new position to the team as Marketing Lead.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy across all marketing channels. This is an exciting new position with a small internal marketing team, agency partners and external consultants. You will be pivotal to coordinating these resources, and working closely with the commercial sales team.

You will ensure industry best-practice, keeping abreast of industry updates and have a passion for delivering results with innovation and creativity. Drawing upon your strong analytical skills, you’ll use your data insights to ever improve marketing performance across Technical SEO, developing creative Content and Social Media engaging with the target audience, obtaining the best results from paid advertising, optimising email marketing campaigns for sales funnel on customer journey and more. You’ll collaborate with sales management improving the customer journey through marketing. develop a lead generation strategy, producing leads for the sales team.

We’re looking for the right Marketer to join the team, to grow and evolve this company’s marketing function. As a new position in the company, we have the opportunity to recruit a less experienced rising star (providing them support for their marketing career development) or to recruit an accomplished Digital Marketing leader who is ready to inherit the team, set and execute their own marketing strategy.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 4+ years holistic B2B digital marketing experience
  • Evidence of creating and executing successful multichannel marketing strategies including deep knowledge of TechSEO, Content, Paid Search and Social, Email Marketing, Digital PR, Social Media and Analytics
  • Experience in managing six-figure annual marketing budgets
  • Confident in managing outsourced resources: Marketing / PR / Web Design Agencies / Freelancers
  • Data Driven: ability to create, analyse and provide insights from marketing data, identifying opportunities to improve and implement them
  • Competent use of industry tools: CMS (WordPress), Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console )GSC), eMail marketing (Mailchimp), Social Media and accomplished with full Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word etc.)
  • Experienced in preparing insights and reporting for management / commercial insights
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, UX and CRO
  • Genuine interest in keeping ahead of the curve: automated marketing, ChatGPT, AI etc
  • Track record of people management and marketing team leadership
  • Passion for marketing and keeping abreast of industry trends and building them into daily work
  • Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise with a goal-focused approach to work but adaptable and able pivot when required.
  • A true team player with abilities to work well on your own and as part of the team.
  • Ability to gain the trust and respect of superiors and employees to develop relationships
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Flexible, self-motivated and confident

LOCATION
With an office located near the A259 and A284 outside of Littlehampton, West Sussex it’s ideal if you live within a reasonable commuting distance so you can hybrid work, attending at least 3 days a week in the office.
