Our client is a full service digital marketing agency in central Brighton. As part of their service offering they have a  specialist Measurement & Insight team. Google Analytics certified, they focus in outcome-focused data analysis. An early conceiver of search marketing expertise, they’ve earned industry respect with their contributions to the local and wider digital marketing community. They produce one of the most listened-to free marketing podcasts and host one of the industry’s most loved conferences, brightonSEO. 

Well respected for their accomplished integrated campaign work, this team deliver exceptional results for instantly recognisable clients like Dunelm, Dental Care, SuperYachtsMonaco and more. We’re hiring a Marketing Analyst to join the Measurement & Insight team.

THE ROLE

As Marketing Analyst you’ll join the experienced client delivery team, reporting into the Measurement and Insight Manager. Responsible for devising and implementing measurement strategies for a portfolio of clients in the travel and retail markets, you’ll bring proven data analysis skills and will be confident in turning business objectives into measurable metrics and results. You’ll nurture both internal and external relations to provide a positive experience with measurement and insight, especially with those who are less data-savvy as clients range dramatically in their analytics sophistication. 

A key component is your advanced level of configuring and auditing GA Properties and Views, and GTM Accounts and Workspaces. You’ll need to be intuitive in your ability to review data and pull together insights and recommendations which assist performance for client business objectives. In addition, you’ll bring a naturally curious mind and take pride in your ability to spot performance enhancing opportunities. You’ll also be encouraged to experiment and continue the agency’s culture of testing, measuring and testing again!

TO BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Advanced level of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in an agency environment
  • Skilled in translating business objectives into measurable metrics
  • Hands on experience in using CRO tools and user insight tools incl. HotJar and CRO measurement frameworks
  • Previous experience in configuring and maintaining a CRM platform including Salesforce & HubSpot
  • Analytical mind with knowledge of G Suite
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail 
  • Able to design and build reports, ideally in Data Studio 
  • Confident in presenting & pitching to clients, meticulous in detail
  • Problem solving with a strategic approach to data
  • Clear communication with solid organisation skills
