Our client prides itself on covering most areas across the United Kingdom, offering local services in areas local to their B2B and B2C customers. With evidence of their industry’s leaders achieving £1b+ a year, and having doubled their own turnover in the past two years, this company is a new challenger to the industry. Established in 2022, they employ less than 20 people and had their first £1m month this July.  They’re focused on continuing to scale, as such, we’re now in a position to recruit a Head of Marketing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Founder you will be responsible for all marketing activity. You’ll manage a £1m annual budget and confidently create and execute a multichannel marketing strategy. Focused on exceeding company goals, your passion for the online industry will drive you to keep ahead of industry trends. You’ll enjoy testing new martech, adopting those that are successful. Your commercial acumen will underpin your recommendations for acquisitions of digital assets. You will also deliver insightful, regular reporting.  

Empowered to build and manage a specialist team, you will initially roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You’ll focus on increasing inbound leads, keeping tight reins on paid advertising and ensuring campaigns have the best performance metrics. You’ll also underpin your strategy with organic marketing, applying local SEO to the volume of company sites.

This is a new pivotal role in a rapidly growing challenger brand. Your passion and expertise will be a key driver to the delivery of exceptional results. You’ll rely on your nose for results and good commercial instinct to be on top of awareness, a can-do mindset and roll up your sleeves initially to make things happen. This is a senior hire into the business, with scope for career progression and incentivised performance rewards.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Essential

  • Bring 8+ years of digital growth experience, ideally half of those in an agency environment
  • Successful track record of creating and delivering lead generation strategy
  • Success in Paid Advertising, managing 7 figure budgets
  • Google Ads, Local Service Ads, Google Search Console, local SEO
  • Regular reporting with commercial insights to CxO suite
  • Strong understanding of tracking and tagging
  • Confident communicator and ability to build relationships
  • Be able to lead and nurture a team
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrable ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and an appetite to succeed.
  • Analytical way of working
  • Collaborative worker but self motivated and all-round team player

Desirable 

  • Experience of marketing “local service” industries ie locksmith, waste management, plumbers etc

LOCATION

Registered in the UK with a Head Office in Norwich, this vacancy will permit you the benefit of working from home. Your contract will require you to live in the UK and have permit to work in place already. There will be requirements for occasional meetups with the Founder.

BENEFITS

In addition to a salary upto £80k there is a commission structure to reward performance against targets. All other benefits are statutory at this time.
