With a Brighton HQ, our client is one of the UK’s leading online student communities offering a unique service for students from GCSE’s to University and beyond. Growing year on year and now with more than 70 employees, the company offers a vast array of educational material. They are key in connecting educators, employers and consumer brands to switched-on young people actively seeking out answers and meaningful connections. They were also named ‘Employer Of The Year’ by Brighton & Hove Business Awards in 2018. We are now hiring a CRM Marketing Manager into the team.

THE ROLE

As CRM Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for developing and managing the complete automated email process of the business. In this case, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Ideally, you’ll bring skills in HTML to assist you in creating and designing layouts. Again, it would be ideal if you bring experience of using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but other email platform experience is of interest along with an ability to quickly learn and a positive can-do attitude.

Confidence in delivering effective campaigns while improving the customer journey strategy is vital. You’ll be working closely with the CRM Manager to ensure your strategies are aligned and to optimise existing CRM programs. A collaborative working style is important to this role. As is being creative in your work and bringing skills in analytics, testing, reporting and reading data to maximise performance of company KPIs.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 2+ years’ experience specifically in email marketing
  • In-depth experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ExacTartget or similar
  • Able to produce highly personalised, dynamic email campaigns
  • Able to pull data from reports and create actionable insights
  • Previously built, tested and executed complex user journeys
  • Able to work with complex user segmentation
  • Creative in your approach with a flair for understanding data and strategy
  • Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Supportive can-do attitude with your colleagues
