With company ambitions to build a strong recurring revenue base and double total revenues each year for the next few years, we are now hiring a full-time Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to develop and deliver the long-term go-to-market B2B strategy and vision.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and part of the senior management team, as Chief Commerical Officer you will be responsible for managing a global B2B proposition. You will refine and develop a cohesive, short/medium/long term B2B revenue strategy that encompasses marketing, sales, product/service and customer success teams. Inheriting a small team, you will develop high-performing skills focused on bis dev/sales and account management/growth. Drawing on your private and public sector (especially healthcare!) experience, you’ll competently navigate complex procurement processes. You’ll implement scalable and replicable sales processes whilst you coach and motivate your team to meet and exceed targets with a robust incentivising commission structure. All this whilst continuing this company’s flair for being a great place to work!
Adaptable with an ability to juggle and prioritise, you’ll use your strong data skills in your ability to spot opportunities but also provide accurate forecasting and reporting of performance. Your well-developed communication skills will hold you in good stead as you build relationships, close deals, collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with the CTO to influence product/engineering teams for future products.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Accomplished in creating and executing successful B2B marketplace strategies
- Experience in transitioning a B2B technology-based business from start-up to scale-up, delivering rapid growth commercial expectations
- Experience in revenue ownership with a track record of demonstratable business expansion and ARR growth
- A commercial leader with the ability to lead and execute sales in both private and public (particularly) healthcare) procurement process
- Results-focused with room for flexibility
- Strong sales leadership and well-developed communications skills
- Hands-on approach to your work, accustomed to the agility of a “roll your sleeves up” start-up environment
Based in central Oxford, as part of a thriving startup community within The Oxford Innovation Centre. There is regular travel to London and remote working options.
