Our client is an entrepreneurial, award-winning logistics company with over 120 offices in 40 countries around the world! Specialising in transportation, logistics and warehousing and customer-centric in their approach, our client is powered by their in-house expertise and are now award winners in their field.
We are now looking to expand the marketing and sales function of this global business by hiring a Sales and Marketing Assistant into their UK head office in Windsor. This is an exciting time for the business, their new website is about to be launched along with new marketing strategies which you could take ownership of and run with.
Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, this role is split between supporting the Sales Directors and the marketing function. With a wide set of varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, it is essential you have the ability to prioritise and adapt easily. Enjoying your work, you could be involved in compiling RFQ’s, event planning, email marketing, website management, logistics bids and pricing.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to be creative in your work, producing campaigns, brochures and presentation materials. Not only this, but you’ll also support the soon-to-be-launched new website, regularly sourcing and publishing online content. In contrast to your creativity, you’ll use your analytics skills and have great attention to detail, producing complex spreadsheets. Whilst it is not essential to bring these skills with you, you must demonstrate an aptitude for picking up new skills easily.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in email marketing
- Content production skills
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Software Suite and Excel skills very beneficial
- Ability (and desire) to pick up new skills easily
